Pawns in the Game…

Pawns in the Game

Here is a TRUE story of international intrigue, romances, corruption, graft, and political assassinations, the like of which has never been written before. It is the story of how different groups or atheistic- materialistic men have played in an international chess tournament to decide which group would win ultimate control of the wealth, natural resources, and man- power of the entire world. It is

explained how the game has reached the final stage. The lnternational Communists, and the International Capitalists, (both of whom have totalitarian ambitions) have temporarily joined hands to defeat Christian-democracy. The cover design shows that all moves made by the International Conspirators are directed by Satan and while the situation is decidedly serious it is definitely not hopeless. The solution is to end the game the International Conspirators have been playing right now before one or another totalitarian-minded group impose their ideas on the rest of mankind. The story is sensational and shocking, but it is educational because it, is the TRUTH. The author offers practical solutions to problems so many people consider insoluble.

While the White House and Pentagon worry over the coming disclosure of another 15,000 classified documents on Afghanistan by WikiLeaks, the organization’s leader Julian Assange finds himself swirling in accusations of sexual impropriety.

Defend WikiLeaks – End the Secret Wars

The Peace and Justice Resource Center has a special obligation to report this story fairly and accurately because thousands of people have signed the petition:

Defend WikiLeaks – End the Secret Wars

What is the truth behind the allegations? What effect will they have on WikiLeaks? Is this a “dirty tricks” effort by intelligence agencies to discredit, disrupt and destroy the whistleblower threat?

The situation changes daily. For this analysis, the Bulletin has relied on Swedish sources on the ground, and translations from the papers Expressen, Dagens Nyheter, and Svenska Dagbladet.

Actually I’m really surprised that Naomi was “surprised”…

Like most consumers, I had always assumed that banks and customers are united in wanting to curtail bank fraud. Unfortunately, I have learned that in fact bank fraud is a big and profitable business — for the banks themselves; and that changes in electronic banking, combined with the power of lobbyists to sustain the status quo that is stacked against ordinary account holders, mean that if consumers’ accounts are corrupted, they can face systemic stonewalling by the banks themselves — and have little recourse.

In 2005 I started to notice irregularities in a checking account I held with WaMu; but the irregularities were ambiguous. I sought at various times over the course of the next two years to go over all my statements — but had trouble getting all my records from both online banking and from my branch itself. A busy working parent, I was certainly not as proactive as I should have been — and, like many consumers of bank services, since we had family accounts and two mortgages at WaMu for many years, and had good relationships with our local branch, I also made the mistake of trusting the bank.

I noticed eventually that checkbooks were missing from my home, and finally my accountant got enough of the records to see an unmistakable pattern of fraud, and called my attention to it. I filed a police report and alerted WaMu to the fraud. For months thereafter, as you can see in the lawsuit that attorney David Fish and I have filed against J P Morgan Chase, now owner of WaMu, that is up on TheSmokingGun.com, I complied with what the WaMu bank officials directed me to do — which was to leave the accounts open so they could investigate, they said, the fraud. If the fraud is reported within six months of confirmation of fraud, it is liable for the loss.

Google and Verizon unveil private net neutrality deal…

After a week of speculation and denial, Google and Verizon unveiled their own version of net neutrality in the form of a “suggested legislative framework for consideration by lawmakers,” as Google’s public policy guy Alan Davidson and Verizon Vice President Thomas Tauke put it on Google’s public policy blog.

“Ultimately, we think this proposal provides the certainty that allows both Web startups to bring their novel ideas to users, and broadband providers to invest in their networks,” they wrote. We’re guessing that lots of people will disagree with that assessment.

YOUR FEDERAL INCOME TAX: article from Kansas C...

In just six months, on January 1, 2011, the largest tax hikes in the history of America will take effect.

They will hit families and small businesses in three great waves.

On January 1, 2011, here’s what happens… (read it to the end, so you see all three waves)…

First Wave:

Expiration of 2001 and 2003 Tax Relief

In 2001 and 2003, the GOP Congress enacted several tax cuts for investors, small business owners, and families.

These will all expire on January 1, 2011.

Personal income tax rates will rise.

The top income tax rate will rise from 35 to 39.6 percent (this is also the rate at which two-thirds of small business profits are taxed).

The lowest rate will rise from 10 to 15 percent.

All the rates in between will also rise.

Itemized deductions and personal exemptions will again phase out, which has the same mathematical effect as highermarginal tax rates.

The full list of marginal rate hikes is below:

  • The 10% bracket rises to an expanded 15%
  • The 25% bracket rises to 28%
  • The 28% bracket rises to 31%
  • The 33% bracket rises to 36%
  • The 35% bracket rises to 39.6%

Higher taxes on marriage and family.

IRAN

This weekend, Iran goes atomic.

On August 21, Iran will bring the nation’s first nuclear power reactor online when it loads a shipment of nuclear fuel into the core of the Bushehr nuclear plant.

The headlines this morning are grim. John Bolton, a former US envoy to the UN, warned this week that Israel has “eight days” to launch a military strike against Iran. To wait any longer would be “too late for Israel to launch a military strike against the facility because any attack would spread radiation and affect Iranian civilians.”

Absent an Israeli strike, Bolton said, “Iran will achieve something that no other opponent of Israel, no other enemy of the United States in the Middle East really has and that is a functioning nuclear reactor.”

The fact that this particular Iranian nuclear facility was built with Russia’s help is only escalating tensions in the Middle East and in Washington this week.

THOMAS SOWELL

‘We the people” are the familiar opening words of the Constitution of the United States — the framework for a self-governing people, free from the arbitrary edicts of rulers. It was the blueprint for America, and the success of America made that blueprint something that other nations sought to follow.

At the time when it was written, however, the Constitution was a radical departure from the autocratic governments of the 18th century. Since it was something so new and different, the reasons for the Constitution’s provisions were spelled out in the Federalist, a collection of essays written by three of the writers of the Constitution, as a sort of instruction guide to a new product.

The Constitution was not only a challenge to the despotic governments of its time, but has been a continuing challenge — to this day — to all those who think that ordinary people should be ruled by their betters, whether an elite of blood, or of books, or of whatever else gives people a puffed-up sense of importance.

Democratic Cybersecurity caucus leader threatens “cyber-9/11″ if legislation not quickly passed….

Paul Joseph Watson Prison Planet.com

An Internet kill switch bill that would give President Obama the power to shut down parts of the world wide web for a period of at least four months without congressional oversight has moved closer to a Senate vote, with one of its primary advocates, Democratic co-chairman of the House Cybersecurity Caucus Jim Langevin, threatening a “cyber-9/11″ if the legislation is not quickly passed.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is now trying to merge two “cybersecurity” bills, one sponsored by Senator Joe Lieberman and another sponsored by Democrat Jay Rockefeller, in preparation for a final vote when the Senate returns to session in early September.

Lieberman and Rockefeller are perhaps the two very worst people in government to be crafting legislation to regulate the Internet, as they are both on record as advocating a completely state-controlled world wide web or seeing the Internet shut down for good.

During an interview with CNN’s Candy Crowley back in June, the Independent from Connecticut made it clear what the ultimate agenda of cybersecurity legislation was focused around – creating a Chinese style Internet that would hand the government the power to regulate free speech on the world wide web.
