“Our heads are still swimming,” stated Barbara Schebler of Homosassa, Florida, who received word last Friday that test results on the water from her family’s swimming pool showed 50.3 ppm of 2-butoxyethanol, a marker for the dispersant Corexit 9527A used to break up and sink BP’s oil in the Gulf of Mexico.

The problems began for the Scheblers a few weeks after the April 20 blow-out. “Our first clue were rashes we both got early in May. Both my husband and I couldn’t get rid of the rashes and had to get cream from our doctor,” Schebler noted, “I never had a rash in my life.”

Then, on “July [23], my husband Warren mowed the lawn. It was hot so he got in the pool to cool off afterward. That afternoon he had severe diarrhea and very dark urine. This lasted about 2 days,” she revealed.

COINTELPRO 101 – The Sabotage Of Legitimate Dissent

The Sabotage Of Legitimate Dissent!
Real examples from the pentagon, military, politicians and the media

COINTELPRO (an acronym for Counter Intelligence Program) was a series of covert, and often illegal, projects conducted by the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) aimed at investigating and disrupting dissident political organizations within the United States.

Funny enough below the video there is a link to Mike Rivero’s site. Remember this:

These truth telling videos on every channel are now getting a lot of attention from the military. So if you see any disinfo agents on here crying foul or belittling them please tell them to GTF off our channels! I have had enough of their rhetoric. We are far too smart to be taken in by them anymore. The only good people on here are either agreeing or questioning in a good way so as to learn the truth as it is today! Be Aware and Nail their Asses,

invincibleironman3 @GrassyKnollTrolls …agree completely. Remember the money trail, and who benefits. A paper indicating the financial formulas was published by Catherine Austin Fitts called “The Black Budget – Clandestine Politics and the Cartelization of the American Economy. It will basically give you the blueprint of covert operations ran by the institutions set up to maintain control of the Economy.

Mumia Abu-Jamal – Media is the Mirage…

I have posted and written on twitter about this whole phenomenon…The media was purchased [back then the main 25] a long time ago…more info later…

A long awaited update, or new video.
This is one of my favorite commentaries of him.
I personally typed it off his book “All Things Censored” it was written in the early 90′s so maybe you won’t know the allusions he makes.

American mass media is a marvel of technology. It is whiz-bang, sparkle, glitter, and satellite wizardry. It is a master plan of methods to communicate, and a paupers worth of substance. With such technology, how are people so woefully misinformed? The average American neither knows nor cares about the vast world beyond the nations border. The average American student knows little math, no history, and very little geography, and nor does he or she want to know. Americans have computers in school, dozens of TV stations, and the most aggressive news media on earth. Does that mean theyre better informed?
Hardly.
On November 2, 1995, the United Nations General Assembly voted overwhelmingly—117 to 3—to condemn the United States for its continuing blockade of Cuba.* The international community called the United States blockade a flagrant act of aggression and a blatant violation of international law. That the UN vote was reported at all in American media is amazing, for such news is more often than not passed over entirely by the American press; but where was information about the blockade itself, the effects suffered by the Cuban people, in-depth comments form the United Nations delegates and leaders around the world? For a more substantive report, on had to listen to the BBC World News Service, for the rest of the world takes note of events the U.S. prefers to ignore.
American media is a business, and it has a mission; not to inform Americans, but to entertain them. Every media enterprise in America reports the drivel that Marcia Clarke and Chris Darden are secret love birds, but the vote of a global assembly condemning the U.S. actions received only scant coverage at best.
Why?
The media is a source of titillation more than information. The mission of the media is to please, to comfort, and primarily to sell. When TV was developed, it was promised that every American would learn about the world in his living room. When computers were developed, wasnt it said that they would be invaluable learning tools and that children would learn more, faster? Nation scholastic tests show otherwise, as kids master computers as toys, and learn splendid hand to eye coordination, but little else.
The media paints false pictures of the nation and the world, pictures designed to serve corporate masters and to make America look good. This feel-good media approach serves the American delusion of white supremacy but it does not inform. When the New York Times echoes Star magazine, what can the world media mean?
How could millions people be surprised at Minister Farrakhans enormous influence among blacks unless the media wasnt doing its job? How could they look at a million and count less than half that number?
The major media, like its racist projections, is to be rejected, not consumed. For your very patronage gives it life.
From death row, this is Mumia Abu-Jamal.

Is Afghanistan really a ‘graveyard of empires?’ …

Posted on 2010 08, 20 by admin

BREAKING NEWS:

Israel and Palestinian Authority to hold first direct peace talks since 2008 in September, U.S. Secretary of State says.

By Barry Neild, CNN

December 7, 2009 — Updated 1539 GMT (2339 HKT)

(CNN) — The hand of history will be weighing heavily on U.S. President Barack Obama’s shoulders as he deploys thousands more troops to Afghanistan in the hope of finally crushing a relentless Taliban insurgency.

Known as the “graveyard of empires,” Afghanistan has a reputation for undoing ambitious military ventures and humiliating would-be conquerors, a fate his opponents at home say is not worth risking more American lives for.

In the past two centuries, both Soviet and British invaders have been forced to beat bloody retreats from Afghanistan, deprived of victories that, on paper, looked easy, but ultimately proved futile.

And can it only be coincidence that in the wake of their Afghan disasters both the British and Soviet empires — like that of Alexander the Great’s, which extended over the region more than two millennia earlier — crumbled? Almost immediately, in the case of the Soviets, a century later for Britain.

This, say some, is the inevitable Afghan experience. Isolated, poverty-stricken and brutalized by interminable conflict that technological advances in warfare fail to end, the country apparently remains as impervious to today’s military adventurers as it was to yesterday’s.

“It’s a hard place to fight, to conquer and rule,” says Patrick Porter, a lecturer in defense studies at the Joint Services Command and Staff College, Kings College London.

“The geography is very hard: It is a country of mountains and deserts, of quite severe winters and that makes it difficult not only to fight in, but also to operate logistically. It limits your mobility and it is difficult to project power.”

No wonder, he says, that the country’s “graveyard” legend dies hard.

“Islamist-supporters infiltrate Obama Admin to subvert US security,” reveals ex-CIA’er, Clare Lopez

Islamist-allied operatives appointed by Obama are undermining U.S. security policy – explains counter-Intelligence expert, Prof. Clare Lopez. Aimed at co-opting Americas foreign policy in the Middle East, a network including well-known American diplomats, congressional representatives, figures from academia and the think tank world – with ties to the clerical regime in Tehran – is directing the Obama Administration’s policy towards the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Middle East.

Can we stop the Indian superbug? New Superbug Immune to Antibiotics…

Posted on 2010 08, 12 by admin

British hospitals are grappling with a new bacterium that have become resistant to the most powerful antibiotics
According to experts questioned by BBC, the “superbug” has traveled to the United Kingdom by cidaãos who have visited countries such as India or Pakistan for plastic surgery.

So far 50 cases have been identified, but scientists fear that bacteria from spreading to other countries.

Resistant to the strongest antibiotics, the bacteria can be transmitted from person to person and become almost impossible to treat, since in at least one of the cases the organism was found to be resistant to all known antibiotics.

The bacterium in question produces an enzyme called NDM-1, which can exist within different bacteria.

Carbapenems are very useful antibiotics. Distantly related to penicillin, they can be used to treat a much broader range of bacteria, many of which are difficult to attack because they are naturally resistant to most other antibiotics.
